The person in question is a very dedicated anti-vegan troll who is known to make non-sequitur claims as replies to vegans, in the hopes of roping then into a defensive position under the guise of “debate”.
To exemplify this I engaged with them a couple months ago and got a perfect showcase of their behaviour. I had never used this and have never replied to them since then (at least I don’t remember that I have and searching didn’t turn anything up). But then when they replied to me yesterday I did. And got promptly banned for “harassment” and “following someone around”. I messaged the mod who banned me to no reply.
Their behaviour is being enabled by lemmy.world mods like @aeronmelon@lemmy.world who will readily delete comments made by vegans should they dare step a foot outside of the norms of “civilized debate”, like e.g. in the same thread (1) and (2). The petulant and incessant trolling by them is of course never subject to such moderation actions.
To any vegan comrades, do not engage this troll, you risk getting banned and your comments deleted.

The this you comment was to a discussion we had earlier, also initiated by them, I had added that additional context but took it out as requested by @Flatworm7591@lemmy.dbzer0.com specifically to draw attention away from commie.
They are a very avid troll with a very specific pattern, throw out engagement bait, then discard all arguments as insufficient while never providing any themself. Which is how I kept recognizing them. So I captured their behavior in a thread to refer back as evidence of this pattern.
This isn’t following someone around. Replying back to someone refering to an earlier conversation you had with them is not following someone around, I don’t know why people try to twist it in such a way.
And yeah I have complete disdain for your zionist instance, the fact that I got banned for “conflating contemporary Germany with genocide” because I was talking about Germany’s role in a contemporary genocide is something I wear with pride.
Where am I “getting people to harass a person” or “sicking others on them”? I have no clue what even this could refer to? Who have I messaged or what? Like what even? This post? The one made after that allegation??
Also if you weren’t follow them around and they are such an issue, why haven’t you blocked them?
Why should I? I wanted to push them on this further, I wanted them to commit to an argument so we could actually have something to talk about instead of them just throwing out claims and requiring paragraphs of response instead. I also wanted other vegans who see it to be aware of their tactic so they don’t reply to them.
A better warning method would have been making a post about their tactics on a Vegan comm, they’re prolific enough for it to be warranted, but I guess why that would be a bad idea? Because then it would actually be “sicking people on them” which is why I didn’t do it. Because I actually don’t believe in dogpiling individuals.
If you believe you can have a discussion with them, then why do you call them an avid troll? Usually you cant have productive discussions with trolls.

When they cause trouble on Feddit, then Feddit admins will deal with them accordingly. It doesn’t change the fact that you have been toxic yourself in the past which is why I doubt you are as innocent as you make yourself out to be.
Also zionist instance? We have to be careful with anti-zionist criticism for legal reasons if you had bothered reading our rules. Things you can say on Feddit: “Israel is committing a genocide against Palestinians.” “Netanyahu should be in prison.” etc. Things that you can’t say on Feddit: Calling for genocide against Israelis, calling for the destruction of Israel, supporting Hamas, antisemitic talking points, etc.
These differences should be clear as day.
See conflating all of these things as if they’re the same is what makes you zionist. You could just mention the antizionist stuff that you can’t say due to legal reasons. Calling for the destruction of an apartheid state is necessary. Imagine you couldn’t say stuff like “Death to Rhodesia” or “Death to the 3rd Reich”.
It makes you sound like you will delete “Death to Jews” for legal reasons (when there are a few better reasons already) while simultaneously putting it on the same level as “Death to Israel”.

___Then call for the destruction of Israel somewhere else than Feddit. We don’t want to get into legal trouble with Austrian authorities just because you felt like calling for something that is legally understood as a call for genocide in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and therefore qualifies as hatespeech (legally speaking).

Your instance is still full of zionist apologia, repeating hasbara like the “7 Oct mass rape” allegations etc. I don’t think there are a lot of fedditors who genuinely believe that the destruction of Israel is a necessity. And they never will because talk about it is forbidden. Thus perpetuating zionism.
Also, don’t preemptively comply with cops, if they want to shut you down they will find a way even if they have to make something up. Why, if I post “Death to Israhell” right now is not visible from feddit.org? Is it not even hosted on your server? Is the image below not visible from feddit.org ? And if I post it somewhere that federates with feddit.org and it gets enough upvotes, wouldn’t it even be on the front page? Maybe it even get’s cached on your server? Big trouble if I were a fed.
And on language like “Genocidesmany” and “Pissrahell” it’s important to kill all those little voices that got trained to uphold nations as sanctimonous. Of worthy of respect, or whatever else. Kill the bourgeois propaganda inside you, drown it until no bubbles appear. There’s no point in trying to get through to them, they are a Zionist through and through.
