As much as I revile the man for his squandering of historic opportunity, this wasn’t normalized by Biden’s administration.

My first thought as well… Then my second thought was that they’d probably keep it (or most of it, I’m sure they’d destroy anything implicating themselves) to use as blackmail.
I remember the reports that were out around the time he got arrested, and there were countless video tapes with people’s names on them. The dude had the entire place wired with cameras, the blackmail operation was likely the main source of his fortune. Someone probably has all of that.
