Dackel, auch bekannt als Dachshunde oder Teckel, sind Jagdhunde mit einer besonderen Veranlagung für die Baujagd. Sie wurden speziell für die Jagd auf unterirdisch lebende Tiere wie Füchse und Dachse gezüchtet, wobei ihre kurzen Beine und ihr kompakter Körperbau ihnen das Eindringen in die Baue ermöglichen.
Ich würde hierfür eher einen Bluthund empfehlen, denn wenn der eine Fährte aufnimmt wird sie gefunden.
