    Three people were shot at the Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office on Wednesday morning, according to acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.

    The shooter is “down” from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, Lyons said in an interview on CNN.

      The victims were not immediately clear but Lyons said that “all ICE agents and officers at [the] location are accounted for right now.”

      This is also notable!

      Because I assumed the narrative was that the shooter was targeting ICE agents.

      Updated. 2 dead, 1 wounded. All were detainees. Shots were fired blindly at a building and a van. Detainees were in the van.

          The shooter was an imbecile regardless.

          Based on other reporting, sounds like it’s as much likely he thought it would be ‘funny’ to set the world on fire a bit rather than standing for any particular ideology. Which seems to be a very difficult problem as the usual strategies fall apart since the individuals just jump to an extremist action without any particularly certain indicators beforehand.
