Could be fewer jobs when companies find it more efficient to relocate teams outside of the US.

If the team inside was non-citizens, and they team outside is non-citizens, there is no change.

The last time Trump messed with these visas my company moved a bunch of engineers to Canada. The change for the US is those engineers are no longer paying taxes in the US. The change for Canada is they are paying taxes in Canada. I call that a win.

          I’m. Canadian.

Then there is a change, because non-citizens and citizens are not usually segregated at work places

That isn’t what I’m saying. They won’t be in separate rooms, lol.

There is no impact to US citizen income if none of those people paid are US citizens, so it doesn’t matter if those non-citizens do the job on US soil or off of it.

Of course it does. If they do it here they pay taxes here. They spend money on their local economy, etc. If a large portion of the team gets offshored then it may not make sense to keep the rest of the team working different hours because it’s inefficient so the whole team now gets offshored so the American workers get laid off.

Just showing your preconceptions. I was born and have lived my entire life in the US. I have however worked with a lot of H1B holders and have seen teams offshored because it was cheaper or allowed better coverage.

Questions are just questions. Perhaps if you had less H1B coworkers, you’d have more of your fellow comrades working along side you instead of being sidelined.

What’ll happen is the entire offices get moved overseas instead.

With the Department of Education getting cut more and more, funds cut to higher education when we should be making it free for everyone…

The few jobs Americans will be qualified for in the future, primarily services like:

      • Janitorial
      • Plumbing (TVC)
      • Receptionist (TVC)
      • In house Barista

Those will disappear as well. Only jobs left for red meat 'Mericans will be picking fields on farms, you know, the ones ICE has been making available.

So, don’t worry! Dear Leader is making the Merican jobs available for ya’ll while making sure not to over educate anybody and doing more to ensure those woke office intellectual jobs don’t come to our golden shores.

Pretty much all of it. And my beliefs are firm, so…

              So

              • doge cutting department of education is fine.
              • Going a half million in debt for a degree that gets you a 60k starting salary nursing job is normal.

              Got it.

Oh, I’m just exploring the depths of your cuntbaggery. It’s quite interesting, I’d love to hear the rationale behind these beliefs but I fear it’s as shallow as they are themselves.

You’re making up things because you want me to be someone I’m not. You’ve lost all track of what the topic is. Doge? Where did that come in?

So the two options are ventriloquism or mental illness. Which one is it?
