To be pedantic, being a pedophile by definition is just a descriptor for people attracted to kids. People born that way can’t help it, but if they do rape kids they of course become fucking evil bastards. Genuine pedophiles can’t even seek help because being flagged as one will get everyone to understandably want to stone them to death, which makes someone being an actual pedophile but not wanting to be pretty tragic in a way.
Now on the other hand - these psycho, rich rapist pieces of shit I doubt are all even really pedophiles, I’d assume raping kids is more of a sick perversion of feeling the power over someone so vulnerable, and the ability to be able to break that taboo just by having so much money. So less about being actually attracted to kids, and more about power and being incomprehensibly evil garbage. I wouldn’t be surprised if many of these putrid, vile piles of trash rape animals as well

So when they start talking about dead babies and such, my Critical Thinking Skills no longer say “That’s too crazy to believe,” they say “Well, he’s turned out to be guilty of every other outlandish thing that he’s been accused of, so why shouldn’t we believe this?”
