    The posts I see regarding the genocide in Sudan are always void of comments. Why isn’t there the same anti genocide energy that Palestine (deservedly) gets?

    I sometimes think people love to hate the perpetrators more than they care about the victims of genocide.

      Americans specifically are more outspoken about the genocide in Gaza because our government is directly funding the Israeli government with weapons and vehicles, and the Israeli military is carrying out the genocide. From what I saw of the Darfur genocide, it is mostly rebel groups doing it and not the Sudanese armed forces (which I might be entirely wrong about, I searched for some info but it was pretty cursory)

      I don’t know a lot about Sudan but I think part of the focus on Palestine is the near universal support for Israel from western industrialized nations. There doesn’t seem to be the same situation with Sudan.
