- 2 oz whiskey
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup (1.5:1)
- 1 dash angostura bitters
- 1/2 oz aquafaba (not sure if it should have been there or not, but its pretty)
- 1/2 red wine
- Shake everything but the red wine with ice.
- Remove the ice, and shake one more time.
- Pour in glass, and add the red wine on top (going slowly as to not mix it with the rest).
Really cool effect with the layers, even though the ice cube was probably a bad idea. Taste good, and a good way to use leftover wine!

You have leftover wine???
Not any more
Haha, what can I say, I’m a reasonable person!
“Leftover wine” is really just the next cheap bottle waiting to be opened.
Damn that looks great, nicely done
Thanks!
Nice. Maybe this could be great with port wine.
I could see it working with port wine, but maybe without the simple syrup then, it was already a bit sweet.
