We really need a better way to deal with this. These charges are typically fines and then they pay predatory insurance rates for 5 years, but anyone with money will just pay.

Here’s a dumb question: why do we even allow cars to go 178 Km/hr?

Do you guys not do license points?

Sure, i could get pulled and pay the fines repeatedly but after a few times I’ll lose my license due to having too many points on it.

Yes, and this will cost the driver 6 points. In Ontario, once you reach 15 your license is suspended.

They will also face way higher insurance.

The driver is facing a charge of stunt driving, which includes a 30-day licence suspension and the vehicle impounded for 14 days.

    That seems insufficient.

English is my second language, maybe that is why “charged with stunt driving” sound really funny to me.

    “You there, stop doing stunts!!!”

Like it is the same charge if you are speeding or doing weelies in your bicycle in your neighborhood
