I picked the female character on cp2077 on a whim and thank God for that. The story is so much better with a female protagonist (at least until now, I haven’t finished yet) and V Friendship with Jackie is much more sweet like an unlikely duo. The voice actor is also great. I saw some clips of male V and it not even comparable how different the game feels.

  • Then you will “love” to know that they can still charge the card after they have swiped it. I was floored when I noticed it. So you give the card and then they come back with your card and a new bill that has a place for you to write down how much tip you wanna add. You do not give your card again, you just leave the paper in the table and they will add the amount to what they are gonna charge in your cc. This would not fly in my country, I am actually shocked that cc fraud is not more widespread in the US with how “low security” it all seems. Once I went to buy something and I had forgotten my cc PIN (because I am now always using contactless pay and such), the person handling the register told me I can skip it, and sure enough, there was an option on the machine to skip entering the PIN. I guess the PIN stuff is new in the US and people are not used to it so it is not even a red flag to say that you do not know your own PIN and they even have the case built-in in the software. Shocking.

I think at least in part other countries can pretend it never happen because they didn’t have to deal with their own wanna be facist at home with ties to Trump. Brazil does not have the luxury to do so when not only Bolsonaro happened but it is still being a problem and Trump is actively trying to influence it in Brazil.

  • I’m kind of noob in general terms and I’m afraid I’ll be leaving dual boot just in case.

    ArchLinux is the other alternative.

    Never change internet. Never change.

OP, don’t go with the hype, don’t go arch Linux as your first distro, you can change to it later when you get more comfortable and feels like having a more hands on approach.

PS: I don’t think that matters but just in case, I am an arch user for at least 12 years already as my only OS (except work computer) and I find it wild that so many people recommends arch Linux (or any of its derivatives) for beginners. I can only guess how many people get burnt and give up on Linux because of it.
