It’s not going to happen, and even if it does in some small niche, it’s not going to replace battery electric. Electricity is ubiquitous, H2 infrastructure is disappearing.

I’ve legitimately had someone suggest adding a small wind turbine to a car to generate power to charge the car as it’s moving.
Converting 1.5 billion cars to hydrogen isn’t going to be any easier. Harder, I’d say. Especially as hydrogen storage still hasn’t truly been solved.
