I’d like my taxes to help people in need. Unfortunately my taxes go towards skeletonizing brown children.

Agreed, rope is more “extreme sport” than kink for a lot of people. Beginner events are generally low-pressure. It’s not nearly as scary as people generally have in mind, and I’m saying that as someone who finds it hard to go out and meet people.
The price of rope can get quite expensive depending on the quality and where you buy it from.
But yeah, finding people to tie with can be a challenge. I know in my area there are multiple groups that do it, and while it was really scary to reach out the first time, it turns out they are charming, friendly people. Definitely worth a shot.
(I mean, I’m in a city, might be harder in less-populated areas.)
Don’t let your dreams stay dreams! It’s pretty cheap to pick up some coreless nylon rope at your local hardware store. There are great free tutorials here, even for self-tie.
It’s a little surprising but rope is a great way to meet new people and make friends.
All depends on how many people you’ve got with you. If you’re traveling with 8 people, splitting an AirBnB starts to make sense. Traveling solo? Hotels all the way.

I think that’s a generally Christian-centric view (which describes anything non-Jesus as the devil). As far as Pagan witches are concerned they could get their power from any number of gods/goddesses, or even from nature herself.

41·8 days agoIt’s not the condensing that takes energy, it’s the thermal release of the water from the desiccant that takes energy. Here’s the real paper with all the details. Avoiding thermal release in favor of mechanical release of water from the desiccant bypasses a good portion of the energy required.
Everyone has a built in extruder, if they’re brave enough.

44·11 days agoSounds good in theory, but I don’t think that holds up in practice. For example, computers getting more affordable and powerful year by year didn’t stop people from buying them.
If the price is lower than the opportunity cost of NOT having it, people will buy it now, even if the product will be priced better next year.
