If only we could agree such ideals make us stronger as a species, least be honest with each other… And hopefully others if we get to meet them.

Like the other poster said there’s no cause known. All I can think of is something happened so close to an experience (something you can actually recall is a different matter) or perhaps something you’ve experienced peripherally such as a dream or media.
Or perhaps just something so close to one of those you feel like it’s happening in front of you.
Or just a glitch in the brain?
Or perhaps it’s the Matrix shrug unsure if that’s better or worse.
Or…
I thought the actual wording (from probably other articles, didn’t click on this one) was the DOJ gave her a list of names to comment on. I wonder who was absent from that list?
*Sorry if double post said there was an error
Nobody’s perfect, sometimes they need to buy some to make a special day for someone they love and even in the strictist ideals you can forgive that, as much as you may not agree. Also my boycotts are my ideals not others so no reason to think less of someone else cause they’re doing their thing with their knowledge on it all. Mean there may be limits but think that gives the impression of my thoughts.
Yeah that’s what confuses me about some of these stories, mean I’m not from the locations but I always thought no plate meant it was being impounded. Like how could an officer let them continue driving without proper registration and insurance? That seems reckless on the officer’s actions, what if there was a collision? Unless I’m missing something which is very possible, I don’t know laws everywhere, gotta take the stories with a grain of salt it seems.
Mean the semi colon is a special case in English grammar, I know where to put the rest of non colon symbols. The regular one is more simple than the semi. That wasn’t supposed to sound quite like that.
Yes and maybe not then. Look at Newton’s law, even it deals with psychology if not physical action and realize that we (under some theories) have free will to make the actions that will cause those. So something will happen to make you (or someone else) do an action and even if you (or they) don’t like it it happened. You can look at it from 1000 angles but either way someone with that personality would make it happen that way.
So gotta just accept, it is what it is, try and make it better and I hope it works out. Mean unless you can see the future and change things, we all are who we are, may. It be worth knowing or hanging out with but somebody probably made something you don’t want to happen, happen. C’est la vie.
I always thought it was Raiden too to the point I didn’t realize there was a Rayden spelling. Sounds like a fabric or non stick coating. Mean I didn’t play a ton of Mortal Kombat but knew, what I think was Scorpions finisher (?) in MK1 on Genesis, Start up up? Probably forgetting but that’s the only one I could remember enough to use back in it’s time…in the early 90s it was nothing short of fantastic to see them, even without the blood code for Genesis.
Never looked into the half life but first time it took like 6-7 hours to see the ceiling swirl nicely. I wouldn’t assume many days lasting though. The wired framed mech I wanted to see out my 3rd story window at like 4am was beat though, especially when I made it walk back and forth.
But after many times, including after seeing the Teletubbies sun face randomly (actually not even the most awesome hallucination that trip), after 12 hours I was mostly sober.
Other time I recall was about 10 hours after first dropping went to a rave and got home,I saw some fun colours in the shower water, into infinity between the tiles, then yelled a Madeline cartoon cause they left their luggage 3 scenes before they checked in and had it next to them again…then went to bed and was all tired later cause my sleeping schedule was mixed up.
I wouldn’t think it last longer than say 12 hours unless other factors are in play.
Edit forgot to say, most of my acid trips I saw no more than stucco ceiling swirling for a hallucination. So don’t take these experiences as standard…well maybe the watching that Madeline episode that was stupid continuity but expected for a tv show made for kids.
There’s a penny arcade comic that makes a good argument. About printing out your character as a figure or something they have/had. Heck I wonder if it that was part of the reason, unsure if it’s still offered.
I always enjoyed the bit of making my character looked like how I preferred though it wouldn’t detract me overly if I wanted to play. I play sometimes but not often.
Heh at my age (and growing up with computers since the 90s well earlier but I didn’t know cables well) I assume there’s a new one next time I blink. Also at my age I don’t realize I blink as often as I do. So just shrug buy the cables your devices need and not worry too much. Mean it sucks yeah, I got tons of USB cables I never use anymore, but it’s how it goes. Much slower than it used to at least so less issue to complain. If they ever settled on some port that’d work for over 10 years I’d prefer that of course.
It worked in the movie Young Einstein and I trust movies, not really I just wanted to make an amusing but related comment about a lesser well than known movie of my youth. Of course since it’s a comic seems semi relevant, it was a part of the movie trailer heh unless my memory is worse than I hope but I don’t want to delve there.
I lived in the ass end of Alberta people are fucking idiots in AB. So glad I moved out of there. Seriously think of the worst place in AB if it wasn’t where I was then it wasn’t that bad of a spot spare a handful of names. If anyone knows Alberta well they can probably guess where that is cause it isn’t south and only so many roads north.
Edit thought I’d mention there are exceptions, did have a few good employers and all but the random opinion wasn’t in acceptance of helping people it seemed and to me we should life all people up to do better as a society. But not every person was a jerk with asshole opinions even in the remote places. To be fair never asked my employers they were just nice to me … Huh.
I’m shy, my brother who is many years older than me would tell his friends how I’d yap his head off. They couldn’t believe it cause I’d say almost nothing around them.
I see many homeless people in my area, I am more withdrawn but I always think of grabbing a case of water for our hot times to hand out, even if it may not be cool. Sort of too shy to follow through previously but it gets like 30-40C this part of Canada in the summer and we sort of need water to live.
Also why? (You probably said this but wanted to add my words) Unless you want your country to be batted around you need to stand strong. Is it for the best? Maybe not. Can we win? Probably not. But fighting authoritarian despots is needed to be a proper democracy. We can’t bow down to fascism.
I’d rather pay more (or way more) and give the middle finger to the US government, fucking despot ruler. We need strong allies now and not our neighbors.
I do understand how some could not afford this luxury and I hope our government would help them through these times, because I think that’s part of why I pay taxes to help the people who have less. I only wish it was more inclusive to help us grow as a country and tell others we helps others.
Read the title, Spaceballs! But you were quicker, may the Schwartz be with you.
Okay not a direct comparison but if I was playing a Paradox grand strategy game and the neighbor country started getting all fascist / authoritarian, I would want to group with like minded nations for protection. Hey we’re already in a defense treaty with them why not make it a more inclusive type agreement? Personally I always felt culturally closer to the UK (yes I know not there anymore) than the US and thought many of our policies mirrored the US due to location and held us back.
According to some people anyways.
