  • Man, I wish I only paid $1200 a month for my one bedroom. I’m not even in or around a major city. I’ve looked at moving, but similar units are all the same or higher priced. The only way I could get a cheaper apartment is by renting from a slumlord or having a ridiculously long commute and then I’ll just be spending whatever money I saved in fuel plus those extra hours spent commuting every week are hours I can’t spend doing other things.

  • I miss my s3. It was my first smartphone and still my favorite. I loved the size, the shape, the fact that the battery was removable, even android was so much better back then.

I know I’m going to get shit on but I still like the s-series. I’ve gotten non s-series smart phones twice (the htc one and an unlocked Motorola something) and I hated my htc and was meh on the other. I’ve had the s3, s7, s10, s21, and now I have the s25. The s10 stopped connecting to the network when they upgraded the towers to 5g and shut off 3g and because of the carrier I’m on I would have had to jailbreak it to fix it. It was already 4 years old at that point so I just ugraded to the s21. I had that for 3 or 4 years until the internal antenna died and it stopped connecting to the cell towers. I’m hoping I get similar usage out of the s25, but I’m planning on my next phone being some cheap ass POS because it’s all I’ll be able to afford.

  • Curl up in bed with a book and some tea.

Resting is being productive. Your body requires rest to get better. Ignoring your body’s needs is not helpful and will only drag your illness out. If you had a child or a loved one who was sick or injured would you force them to run around when they didn’t feel well? That would be abusive. Don’t do it to yourself. It sucks to be forced to rest when you don’t want to, but learning how to rest your body and your brain is a skill too and it’s ok to not be productive 100% of the time, in fact it’s not mentally healthy to have to be productive all the time.
