It’s not even a uniquely Asian thing. Sun tanned skin meant that the people had to work in the field while light skin meant higher status. If anything, tanning as a beauty trend is the relatively recent development.

well, it’s not a news reel. That my compact dock isn’t working is something I know since June but I never saw the output of such an analyzer dongle, so I found it interesting nonetheless.

3rd party docks for the most part being incompatible with Switch 2 isn’t news but they explain why. They show using a USB analyzer dongle what the communication between the Switch 2 console and its dock is and what happens with generic docks. An interesting view imo.

The Samsung Xcover series only killed the headphone jack with release of the Xcover 7 Pro a mere 3 months ago. All this time a series of phones from one of the world’s top brands were available even in the US.
You can get the 2024 model and receive Android updates until 2031 because of Samsung’s 7 years of updates policy. Xcover phones also come with an SD slot and user replaceable battery, btw.
