I’m not sure people still consider it a marathon if you sleep for the night during the process

Even then it’s highly dubious that it was even a plurality. Vote counts in swing states were HIGHLY irregular and 100% controlled by Musk.

Human is most similar to pork, right? So I’d have to go with manbacon.

3·3 days agoBuffalo isn’t that great. Same with elk. They’re lean and don’t have much flavor.
Try some alpaca!

“What do they want?”
If you’re going to make any statement referring to the person, using “they” is both natural and understood by anyone.

I imagine there’s a hell of a lot more armed school security guards today, so if anything, they’re not a catch-all deterrent.
My point was that Columbine was the first event that got mass media attention, and things have gotten progressively worse since.

1·5 days agoDefinitely, raw data never tells the full story. Just pointing out in this specific case, Columbine was certainly an inflection point, and the presence/absence of school security seems hard to use as a metric for before/after.

41·5 days agoIt honestly has a decent lineup. Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Metroid Prime 4 are all solid. I’ve really been enjoying Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment, the co-op has MUCH better performance than the first game. Plus many other Switch games just have better performance on Switch 2, like Pokémon Scarlet/Violet.
We’re getting to the point that just calling them ICE is just as bad anyway

5·6 days agoThe best Thai noodles I’ve ever gotten was in some hole-in-the-wall place called Thai Kitchen 2 or something. Got my usual 4/10 spice level (at least, what I usually get at my local place)on some Pad See Ew and I was in physical pain the whole time, but it was goddamn delicious.
