Why should I? This is my home. Not theirs.
I use transmission for bittorrent. It works fine for me. I haven’t noticed the backend stalling, but 99% of my downloads are automated, so I admittedly don’t use the clients that often. My clients are transmission-remote on Linux and Transdroid on Android.
But I finally made the switch to Usenet this year as my primary source of data, and it is something I wish I’d done ages ago. I’d always balked at the cost, as there was a bit of a learning curve and I didn’t want to get it all wrong and be stuck with a bill. But it’s really not that hard. And FAAR cheaper than a streaming service subscription, and roughly equivalent to a VPN subscription, which is often a necessity for bittorrent these days. The biggest problem with Usenet is a lack of Asian content. I would really like more Chinese dramas in my life, and I have to rely on bittorrent for that. But it’s great for western content and well worth the fees.
I liked it. I haven’t seen it since becoming full blown communist. But I loved that it didn’t shirk at all about showing the US as the blood sucking empire that it is. You have mindless murder for the sake of it. Needless cruelty. And a principled communist woman who would rather die than be a part of it.
I just wasted about a half hour of my time skimming through it. I remember upon first hearing about Russiagate that an infant could tell it was nonsense. Vague claims of hacking something or other, and being upset at Russia for exposing dirt on Hillary. The whole thing seemed manufactured.
This report seems just as manufactured and infuriatingly vague. It could be that it’s too hard to refute such vague claims, or it could just be a whole lot of finger pointing (I’m leaning towards that one). Regardless, it’s really not worth wasting my time thinking about it.
I am going to get the popcorn out to watch the US president cage match though. I doubt much of anything will come of it, but it’s sure to be entertaining, and I like seeing the capitalist class doing some infighting.
I left my bike at the distribution centre and walked. But my partner actually made that drive. I still think walking was faster though. But it doesn’t matter that much… You’ll be out of the tutorial area soon. My advice is to just go. You’ll get things that can traverse faster than a bike later in the game, and you can come back and 5 star things in that area later.
Also, just a tiny bit later in the game you’ll have bikes coming out of your ears. It’s fine to just abandon them when they’re no longer convenient.
Edit: Also, there’s a mechanic in the game that makes a path over your most travelled routes. So it gets easier the next time around.
I actually thought that was a bit of an overreaction, but I still appreciated the sentiment.
I wasn’t able to find what brought that on in the modlog, and his whole posting history was deleted(!). I was really curious about what he said, and after having found and read it… wow. Thank you.
I’ve been on xiao Hong Shu. That’s exactly what happened. I was devastated.
Stalin: Let’s feed the hungry people!
Lib: Why are you supporting this asshole?
See my edit. But here’s the thing. We have video of the moon landing and rocks from the actual moon. That’s solid evidence. We have plenty of evidence of the atom existing, because half our tech wouldn’t work if they didn’t exist.
Where is the evidence of a massacre at tiananmen square? Please read the links I gave you.
Edit: please remember, you said that this was an easily disprovable conspiracy theory.
To deny the events that unfolded at Tiananmen Square is like denying that humans have been to the moon. It’s an unfounded, in fact, disprovable conspiracy theory.
So prove it to us then. All you’re doing right now is scolding us for being insane conspiracy theorists. I’ve never seen any evidence that anything happened at tiananmen square. Reports from people who were actually there all say that there was no massacre
The US has a very long history of lying about its enemies. There are plenty of declassified CIA docs that talk about what lies to tell the media. Why is this one different?
Edit: also, see pen names. Isn’t it a little hypocritical to call us conspiracy theorists when you come to the conclusion that the book was lies written by China or North Korea because you can’t find any information about the author?
Handwriting was invented for fountain pens. It’s not surprising that your writing would improve. I stopped handwriting and went back to printing a few years after being taught. I found it was just as fast (or faster I suspect), far more legible, and eased the pressure on my wrist. It was never intended for ballpoint pens.
