Slightly hopier. My therapist made me apply for some kind of emergency housey thingies that won’t have any space for me (which will make me sad and discouraged) but… Well, a try has been done and some ridiculous part of me wants to hope 🤷

Frusses and upsettings haven’t stopped, of course. Neverending struggle to find a comfortable (and lifey) chatty-place, and to perform life-ish stuffs without gettings stressed completely out :( Tried to get a food last night but had to run away because someone was buzzing around the kitchen pestering me until I was overwhelmed and confused and almost cried. Gotta get my own kitchen.

Dumped a ‘friend’ ‘cause I seemed to have fallen off’ the bottom of their priority list. Another for seeing my upsetty-frussing and being all like “lol here’s a pic of my delicious dinner I made” >:|

I think I’m sad more often than I used to be but that’s kindof a good thing because it means I’m freer to feel things as opposed to dissociating or bottling them up or whatever.

Had a shower cry, then got reminded to get out of this house by the end of the year 🤔 Somehow I apparently was expected to go back to my abusive parents. [Very lie] Good week, great fun. Loving it.

Also, this horrible country in this horrible world is kinda coming down around my ears and I’m somehow supposed to be okay with all’ that and my numerous mental and emotional health issues. Haaaaaaa.

I had some ice cream, though, I guess. That’s kinda like a hope for having a future?

I like that they effectively compared themselves getting an email to people getting arrested for totally innocent social media posts about nothing in particular, which we can all assume is the case without looking into at all. I also like that they’re asking for widespread outrage against this, and want a person’s name to attack converse sincerely with in the Free Marketplace of Ideas™. Such a good, honest person we can definitely trust implicitly, trying to protect Freeze Peach™ from Woke™ Left-Wing™ tyrants like Microsoft.

Maybe “like” is the wrong word. Hmmm.

[Not sarcasm] Right, we know what’s going on here. Gross, cruel, hateful people just wanna have endless “rights” over everyone else and I’m so sick of their games I can hardly even type a non-sarcastic sentence. Ugh. Bleh. Et cetera. 🙄

Oh, it’s so sad to imagine those being wasted on these pieces of crap 😅

Oh no, the Ukrainians will be screwed (for one battle) if Russia can “up-armour” 🤣 about, lemme check… forty or so (assuming “few hundred drones” means 300 drones and not a thing besides) vehicles into “turtle tanks” for a single attack? … And the Ukrainians don’t just dig a moat or something so they can ignore the turtles and wreck everything else? Nor learn some trick(s) to more easily deal with these balls of crap?

It’s baffling to me that this is still going on. There must be multiple people who think any of this makes sense, no?? Freakin’ embarrassing.

🤦 How could I forget about the infamous Ass-Eating Snails! Are they still on tour? I’m surprised nobody’s put a boot on their bus or something just to shut them up.

At least we’ve cleared up the matter of what “AES” that person’s very determined to not specify 😅 I was thinking it was some crappy NSA shenans or something.

Easy to see when there’s a proxy argument or flamewar going on because few of the comments engage with what’s actually been said 😅 A couple things I see:

1. There’s a false dichotomy between saying “I don’t want purity tests” and being 100% hell-bent on ‘perfect purity’ of some sort. For example, I came back after a break to see people in Linuxy communities fighting against ‘purity testing’ a blatant racist, among others. On one ‘side’ I see “Purity testing is bad!” and on the other ‘side’ it’s “Okay but open bigotry maybe a little bad too???”

2. People seem to be seriously insisting that everyone sit down, shut up, and blindly support the US Democratic Party? Never call anything out, never seek ‘better,’ only accept what’s offered from above 🐎🧟 (pretend that’s a donkey, okay? 😅 ) Anyway, maybe I’m out of line and “lefty” is farther from “leftist” than I think buuuut… no. The left is about a better world, not quiet acceptance. Maybe try hanging out with other liberals and moderates? Could be they’re less eager to argue their own ideas or against what they see as wrong.

tl;dr: True purity tests are for auth garbage but I think what’s going on here is people crying “zomg ur the real nazis” when somebody calls out a bigot.

You’re telling me we built all of our cities for cars and it turns out the cars depend on human owners?? [Sarcasm] Damn, if only we’d had any idea at all we could have maybe skipped the cars and built things for humans in the first place!

Kindof amusing to see people call “purity testing” on people who object to someone who’s quoted as being upset by checks notes a lack racial or ethnic purity.

[Sarcasm] C’mon everyone, can’t we just get along and hold hands with racists and other people who consider the rest of us subhuman? As long as what they’re doing doesn’t bother me personally you’re all overreacting and fragmenting this nazi bar community!

People come to a meme community and expect a deep, well-reasoned essay on the state of things and the best ways forward from one captioned image :-\ Is there not a dichotomy between nuance and memes?

The comments around here are just wild flailings based mostly on assumptions. There’s nothing to argue with. It’s a picture with some text on it, popularized as the simplest form of humour. Looking at the comments around here now feels like watching a bunch of people arguing with a dog. There’s really not so much being said.

This is kinda baffling, is what I’m getting at. It looks like almost nothing’s been said so people are furiously attacking things that haven’t. 🤷

Somehow I hadn’t noticed this place was transphobic. Whoopsy!

What’s this from?

Ohey, familiar. Lately getting that particular bit of equivocation from my own abusive “family” who’ve been threatening everything from having me jailed to having me “institutionalized,” calling the cops on me to evict me without notice, physical intimidation… Turns out “no” is a grievous offense to such people. The whole “children as property” thing is vile, absurd that some clearly think giving birth yields the ultimate entitlement, to an entire person and their life. I wonder if not getting diagnosed is a ‘blessing in disguise’ :| Tried for a decade or two to tell BioMom I thought I was ‘on the spectrum’ but always just got bullied out of ever seeing a doc. “There is NOTHING wrong with you!!” she’d say, every time. So now I’m a wreck 'cause two people screwed and entitled themselves to getting by with this crap (and more besides). I hope that person manages better.
