Bullshit, uno and its precursor crazy eights is hands down the best card game ever created. We even played that in big groups in jail and had a blast. The house rules thing is bullshit, agree on something beforehand and play, no stress.
I will say that anyone who doesnt play stacking draw cards is losing out on a ton of fun though.
Do you happen to have a dominant eye? If you primarily use one eye over the other I dont believe these work. For me, I have a scar in the middle of one eye that prevents most straight ahead vision, so its only used to add peripheral information.
Really saves a bunch of time. It seems to auto complete based on what directory you are in too which is really useful for some of the stuff I do.
Sort of, its Arch so all of the fun stuff that goes with that but they also have a package repo application that let’s you use a GUI instead. I find the CLI faster but the GUI will guide you to the correct packages a bit better than searching freehand on a browser.

It is if thats your position. I dont quite agree with open borders but I dont have great counter arguments either. Still trying to figure this one out. Why are you for open borders? How would you deal with exceptional situations that push the limits of the idea?
Technically if something goes wrong you will need help and need to find answers on your own. If you are confident using duckduckgo searches to find answers for technical problems already you should be fine, and most likely won’t even need support at all.
The experience speaks for itself. I dont know of anyone who’s ever willingly gone back to stock android either.

Batteries are a part of the device that will wear down over time anyways. The real problem is making them inaccessible. I have no idea how hard it is to replace on a pixel though.

I’m skeptical anyone wants to actually pay these workers as citizens. It seems the system is dependant on them being undocumented so that labor laws won’t apply. It seems to me the system is currently working to maximize profits, which incentivizes having groups of workers with less rights than others whether its here or abroad.

If I dont think people should be able to stay here illegally, but I dont think its right to deport them or make them citizens, then what’s the solution? I can’t tell if people here are simply arguing the system should be left as it was before trump and ICE caused all this or if there is a goal to work towards.
Its simple advertising. If you have to log in once a week or month or however often, and scroll through their store to click on the free games, a good percentage of those will actually buy something based on what they see. Whether its purchased at egs or somewhere else makes no difference.
Besides all that, having it installed on a device means epic can gather information about you while its running, even if you only open it to collect free games.
Thr bottom line is if it cost epic money to give away free games, they simply wouldnt do it, but as it stands it works out fantastic and a bunch of gamers have no idea they are being tricked at all. Thats more than enough reason to simply avoid egs altogether in my opinion.
Interesting idea. Would it still be prohibited to come to the country without approval? Would the people need to hide out for a year to make sure they dont attract attention too soon?
