Yeah I’ve had pretty good luck in eBay for my phones. I think the p6 I’m running now was 150? I debate on upgrading to the p8 for a newer battery mine struggles and I can keep the p6 for playing with mobile Linux or something

I would love to see our communities focus with new construction and reconstruction projects focus on road/street designs that make people not want to go faster than the speeds in mind instead of semi arbitrary limits.

I second getting a used pixel a gen or two behind. That way you aren’t supporting google in any meaningful way, it’s still a great phone, and saves money. Unless you need the marginal performance gains of the newest phone, it’s really not worth it

I’m not a person that thinks the universe has a meaning or goal, so maybe I’m not the right person to answer. I view it similar to any natural process that you’re already familiar with. Think of a waterfall. What’s the goal of a waterfall? What happens after it completes it’s goal? The way I see it is it’s just doing a thing and after it runs out of water to fall, it just becomes something else (a cliff, or just a “not-waterfall”).

After the universe runs out of “stuff to do” it’ll probably be the heat death (just nothing happens anymore) or a big crunch where effectively another round of it “creating” and destroying things will begin again.

The people around me don’t tend to give me shit about it, unless it’s asking in good faith. If they ask legitimately why we eat meat imitations, I’ll give them some reasons. If its some random, I ignore them, since I give zero shits about their opinions

I don’t understand how we don’t use a third party, non partisan entity to draw district maps. Gerrymandering should be illegal, its so obviously against the spirit of democracy.
