Anybody else a little bit concerned about their “Putting their love in it” ?

I’m in the US, had Verizon at the time. Switched from 750Mb to 1.5Gb and they had to swap in a new ONT because the switch side in the old one capped at 1gig. New ONT was up to 5. I have no idea where you’d check the specs for it. Mine is mounted and the info sticker is probably on the side against the wall.

Yes, asahi on a 8Gb/256 Mac book air. I gave it like 80Gb during setup and that was plenty. At the time microphone, display port and fingerprint didn’t work, but I think even the mic works now. Had to fight with a little to get display link (apple’s video out is special) so it would play nice on some docks, besides that battery was solid, and it just worked.

I used it as an almost daily driver from April 2024 through June of this year. Only reason I gave up was I had to keep whitelisting updates and changes in our siem because it started freaking out about the unknown hardware when I’d get on the network at a client site. Otherwise a solid bit of work.

I mean when I’m picking them, like 65% end up being eaten, 35% end up in the basket. I don’t imagine the clankers would eat that much.

She’s from group B. Group A loads correctly. Group B does this stuff on purpose so we in group A will just stop letting them screw this up and they no longer have to load it.
