Didn’t know this. Hate that anti-cheat breaks games. It should break cheating, not the game 😉

You can install League of Legends on Linux using Wine and Lutris: link

Also Cryptpad.fr is a great collaborative and fully encrypted MS and Google office alternative. It even has a drawing tool embedded 💪

Nice overview! You could add self hosted location trackers like OwnTracks or FMD (Find My Device) as alternative to Apple’s “Find My” or “Friends” app and Google’s device find apps.
Also, Bazzite (Fedora Silverblue Gaming distro) would be a good addition to the gaming Distro category. Running that for about a year really stable, with Steam, Lutris and on Nvidia 3070.
Please keep updating the sheet! Im sharing it to friends and family.

I’m really glad this is implemented! My kids both have an old revived laptop with Bazzite (Fedora Silverblue derivative) and GNOME, and the experience has been really good! With this I hope I can give my kids an alternative digital experience to big tech as part of a guide to better digital wellbeing.
I use Cryptpad as wel. Its been around quite a while and they have been expanding with an lot of new apps like kanban, drawings, code editors and presentations. All Foss and e2e encrypted.
