  • Personally, I loved the idea of new media. Cable was shit.

After experiencing new media… there’s some good stuff in there, guys. I promise. Just gotta wade through mountains of shit.

There should be some rule like; if you have a preference it can’t exist all by itself unless it’s watered down or mixed in with every other preference.

Thank all that is good for genres. At least there is some media that can define itself clearly enough and still build enough of a following to self fund.

  • Imagine if we gave hoarders the same status we give wealthy people.

Like you’re invited over for dinner.

You get to the door and ring the bell. They yell, “come in.” You push the door open against 10000 stacked news papers pushing back at you. You’re instantly hit with the smell of animal feces and urine. You unironically say, “wow, so decadent.” You climb over a pile of furniture and to get to a small clearing in with a couch and a coffee table covered in clutter. You tell your host, “So much stuff, I’m so jealous, you truly possess all the worlds material goods.” They heat up some discount canned ravioli on a hot plate because the only place in the entire house you can habitate is that small clearing with the couch.

After you finish your fine dining experience you leave and you realize you never once saw any animals.

Hoarding is a disease. Doesn’t matter if it’s useless garbage or the idea of a pile of money you’ll never use.

  • Looks like you need a psychologist to put out the fire then go to the therapist to tame any random flare ups.

I went for years of therapy and they would take the dropper and miss me completely. I don’t know what the fuck I did but this angel dropped out of heaven claiming to be part of my benefits and started checking in on me every week to help orginize my healthcare needs. She got me in therapy, then got me to a psychologist. The psychologist was able to treat me within a few sessions and everything got easier.

I honestly could never get the therapist part to work, I don’t really need someone to give me advise. I need someone to make me feel sane and stand me back up. I haven’t found that yet.

As for the angel, she found a new job, passed me off, and the new guy wasn’t as concerned with me.

I don’t know, really it was the work of that random benefits person that saved me. It’s so overwhelming to have suicidal idealation and constant anxiety/panic attacks and then have to deal with a broken healthcare system. What ever that fuckkng service was I cannot praise it enough.

  • Every candidate should be campaigning on it. Not until the Republicans are brazenly defending the broken system, or alternatively join the move for reformation because they think they can capitalize on it, is the country moving in the right direction.

When the pollsters call you your answer to every question should be, “I don’t care we need vote reform.”

When the media focus groups you,“I don’t care we need vote reform.”

When the NAZIs try to bait you, “I don’t care we need vote reform.”

I know, this isn’t a fully fleshed out strategy but it is a stance that will elevate the discussion.
