Largest grassroots protest in modern history isn’t nothing.

This one doesn’t feel as big or well-organized as No Kings. I didn’t even find info for the one in my area until today. And it’s a weekday, which generally means lower attendance. But, I’ll still go.

“Plausibility engine” is a great term and I’m going to start using it.

Tennessee has no state income tax, so they’ll need something to suppliment the loss if this passes. Last time I was there non-food sales tax in almost every county was close to 10%, which is already quite high.

“Wow, we have all these prisoners in camps sitting around doing nothing, let’s put them to work!”

i.e. slavery with extra steps.

If milk gets warm, bacteria can grow in it. And now you’re putting that bacteria in your eyes. Anything you put in your eyes should be as sterile as possible or you risk infection.

Others poured milk on their faces to counteract the gas.

Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!

He and Acton jumped on implementing anti-Covid measures early in the pandemic, and Ohio was a leader in managing the pandemic until the ghouls in the state congress put a stop to it. Someone even made an animated opening theme for his daily press conferences. I don’t like a lot of his other positions (anti-abortion, anti-LGBTQ, anti-marijuana) but he earned some respect from me for how he tried to handle Covid. He at least gave a shit.
