  • A huge part of the COVID bump was that, on top of trump being blamed for economic conditions, he didn’t get to campaign and Biden didn’t need to. That might be equalised in 2028 if the republicans fail to get someone decent at campaigning, and none of the likely candidates right now can hold a candle to Trump’s empty podium.

If I had to bet on anything, it’d be hot potato for the next few elections until either another war of aggression or some charismatic left liberal doing some reforms that’ll be undone by the next decade.

  • I’m not Usian so it’s quite conceivable that I’m missing something. I’ll further concede that Obama’s person had a great effect as far as individuals go. But I don’t think he, or indeed the entire party could’ve saved Corpse President had the media treated Sanders as they would anyone else. The first two primaries they abused the conflicting information to name some rat the winner, then downplayed Nevada to oblivion. After some apocalyptic melancholy by I think wolf blitzer, and some pats on the back of the late Biden for coming in second, they refused to talk about it. It was 10 straight days of Obama this, Clyburn that and the polls from SC went from a decent win to pure domination, while in the super Tuesday states Sanders lost his lead. Then the days of gloating and the coup de grace, two rats bailed and a certain snake didn’t.

I’ll also admit that this narrative of mine takes polling at face value. Between October '19 and march '20 I was checking polling for TERF island and Usia constantly. Those two elections had a huge role in my development, I saw what I would’ve considered legacy media claw back their countries from the possibility of SocDem rule for years. A pox on all their houses.

  • Fell for what? A ploy to capture their support? The average Usian liberal doesn’t pay enough attention to not follow where the current’s headed. Newsom was practically unbelievable until this farce for the same reason Harris was before the VP pick, they’ve done a shit job in California of all places.

I’m annoyed by how obvious and heavy-handed it is this time, but if 2020 wasn’t obvious enough for Usians, they’ll bite again and again and again.

  • That’s all true, so much so that even devs work clearly socialist inclinations can’t go all the way and say outright that that’s right and liberalism’s wrong. Best they can do is mock the reactionaries in a way that lets us know their intentions while the liberals blissfully believe they’re in on the joke.

Regarding the USSR, I think it runs way deeper than that. I’m not convinced there are enough devs in the west that are sufficiently well read that we could put them together in one studio to make one AA title that’s historically and sociologically accurate on the USSR. Even if there were, and they solved the funding issue, what’s their audience? Anglosphere liberals? This hits an extremely deep issue that won’t be resolved for quite some time.

  • I feel like asking whether you were born yesterday. Have you not seen any anti-AES propaganda, or the rounds Western MSM make when they’re pushing some anti-AES horseshit? It’s always innuendos, insinuations, half-truths and fabrications that were corrected by the text itself or its sources, but the intention is that the liberal audience doesn’t think sufficiently deeply to realise the insinuations have no basis or that they don’t read long enough to see the part of the article counter to the headline.

If you think there’s nothing to think about, ask yourself this: Why mention “Chinese-made” in the lead? The average article regarding other conflicts doesn’t mention where the weapons come from, doubly so for the Zionist entity since most of their weapons are Usian. What’s different here?
