Replaced all-black Gravel Kings with tan-sidewalled Paselas. Got tired of flats in the rear.

Yeah it’s crazy. I came from aluminum that weighed about 1.8kg. That said this is the absolute lightest tubing Soma has and it’s really thin. My wife’s frame, also Soma with almost identical geometry, uses thicker tubing and it’s around 2.2kg for a 54cm.

Yeah. If you took a Double Cross and tweaked the geometry to fit 26x2.0 tires and an 80mm suspension fork, that would be the Groove. I built mine into a featherweight XC bike. It was tons of fun on the local trails.

I used Paselas for a long time. Super durable. Got Surly ExtraTerrestrials now, and went thru goat-head hell on Saturday, didn’t even need to add air. Of course I’m running tubeless with sealant. But others on the ride had flats.

Yep ProTite’s. Flats, rare, as I’m rolling tubeless. Last time I bought Paselas was in 2021, so it’s been a while, hence I’ll leave your question unanswered.

A cable that connects the ebike computer mounted on the handlebars to the power controller in the bag. The other is as a hose connecting the AirZound horn on the handlebars to the pressurized air bottle in the bag.

My wife is looking at tan sidewalls for her gravel bike, but mostly because Poseidon uses 20 year old stuff, and you can’t find many tires that fit their wheels.
