There’s many good outdoor companies in Europe. From my experience I can also recommend:

    https://wearealtus.com/es/

    https://www.ortovox.com/us-en

    https://lesovik.eu/

    https://www.ternua.com/

Cumulus i havent used, but some other polish gear I can recommend:

Theres https://aurapoland.com/ if someone is looking for very warm sleeping bags.

And https://namioty.marabut.com/en for great tents. Had one of theirs for nearly 20 years (fuuuuck), and its still great, used it in the Pyrenees last year, and I lived in that tent for half a year on the Atlantic shore some 15 years ago.

20 years can be litte, considering how little many people use their tent. But 6 months living in them is more than a lot of them would last.

Have had a sleeping bag from them for 8 years and a quilt for 6 or so. Great products!

The only complaint I have is their prices have increased quite a bit. My sleeping bag was 240 and now it would cost 360. Still an extremly good price for sleeping so warm at night, with that volume and weight, but not as afordable to super broke people like I was.

The tents they sell (MSR) are from the US, in case that is relevant.

I don’t get what they are good for. What is the use case?

They are like a sleeping bag, but because they have an open back, they save quite a bit of weight. They have straps so you strap them to the sleeping pad/air mattress. This way, you are still insulated 360°.

The basic idea is that in a sleeping bag, because you compress the material below you, that material doesn’t really insulate anyway.

Also some people find them more comfortable than bags
