Reminds me of how earlier today I had brought my more “throw-around” laptop down with me so I can make breakfast, then watch a crime documentary on the TV with my mother, then use the laptop during ad breaks.

During the ads, I wanted to change some google account settings (like disable ad personalisation), but I had to read a lot, so I had to resort to blocking my ears so I can read it, which was pretty annoying and kinda painful not gonna lie.

I touched something greasy 5 minutes ago and I’m certain the soap only got 99% of it off.

Ok, this is the only one that gets me. If I touch something greasy I have to wash my hands like 2-3 times and I ABSO-FUCKING-LOUTELY cannot touch any electronic devices until I’m satisfied my hands are no longer greasy.

I wonder if this counts: I don’t like the look of some things because my mind instantly imagines how it would feel, so if I wouldn’t like the texture, I don’t like looking at it because it gives me the same unpleasant feeling. Sounds like a synesthesia.

neurotypical Bothered is like a polite little check engine ding; Autistic Bothered is anywhere from a louder ding to full-on screaming Airplane altitude alarms and/or nothing because your senses are processed differently.
