You tried but that doesn’t work. That’s for the desktop version. Mobile does not let you do anything other than pick from a list. No way to manually edit and save the default.
I know. I’ve tried others. I keep trying Firefox but it crashes too often. Every browser has problems. But Brave has been the most solid regardless of thecl ethical issues people have with it.
I was doing the crypto/ad thing for years but the value of BAT is so low that it works out to spending 20 minutes a month to get 10¢ so I stopped that.
I’m thinking of switching to DDG browser but haven’t had enough problems to force it.
I guess I need to wait for Brave to add this subdomain as a search option.
Edit for the down voters: seriously. On the mobile app you can only select from what’s listed. There is no way to just edit and save.

That changes it for when you search on the home page. Not the address bar.
