    The first time I heard about him he was described as something along the lines of “a lib but had a good platform to run on.” And then it was about Oz. But he listened to his supporters and won by sticking to his platform.

    Which sucks all the more that he’s made such a turn. There’s no way to really prove it but I am convinced those strokes changed him.

      I still stand by the choice that he was better than Oz.

      marginally, sure. but given that choice…

      it’s time for him to go now though.

        I don’t know how similar it is to a stroke but I suffered a TBI a little over 10 years ago, and while I can recall maybe being somewhat different I don’t “feel” any different or discontinuity.

        However, Those close to me on the other hand have noticed severe antisocial traits come out in me. Lying, stealing, and belligerent behavior that was never a part of my personality before are things I’ve had to identify, accept, and work on.

          my hypothesis is that people who suffer TBI don’t have an independent baseline to judge from, being stuck in our own heads, whereas externally people can compare you to your past behavior and notice change.
