minus-squareYiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.todaylinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·3 个月前Ok, no spoilers. But how in the fuck is this Pam’s neighbor? I complained yesterday about the logic in these puzzles, and I’ll admit I was wrong then. But I really don’t see how this follows.
minus-squareLyD@lemmy.calinkfedilinkarrow-up1·edit-23 个月前Edit: you asked for no spoilers, I hope this is okay. Kind of hard to explain the logic while avoiding all spoilers. Tap for spoiler there are 2 innocents to the right of Ruby, which means there are 2 innocents and 1 criminal between Stella, Tina, and Uma. 1 innocent is Pam’s neighbour, which means Tina and Uma must be an innocent and a criminal (we won’t know which is which, yet). 1 innocent and 1 criminal are accounted for. 1 innocent is left. Who must it be?

minus-squareLyD@lemmy.calinkfedilinkarrow-up1·3 个月前The first clue gives two pieces of info: Two innocents to the right of Ruby Only one of those two innocents is Pam’s neighbour That means: Tap for spoiler The second innocent is NOT Pam’s neighbour

minus-squareYiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.todaylinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·3 个月前Specifically, how is Stella Pam’s neighbor?
minus-squareLyD@lemmy.calinkfedilinkarrow-up1·edit-23 个月前Stella isn’t Pam’s neighbour, maybe it would help if you explained why you’re asking this?
minus-squareLyD@lemmy.calinkfedilinkarrow-up1·3 个月前Why do you think it’s saying that Stella is Pam’s neighbour?

minus-squareYiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.todaylinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·edit-23 个月前No one to the right of Ruby is Pam’s neighbor. Am I tripping? Like how is everyone else getting this but me‽ This is a legit question. I feel like I’m experiencing a stroke in slow motion.
minus-squareYiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.todaylinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·3 个月前The first clue says explicitly that the next person is Pam’s neighbor. My first screenshot shows that the next person is very much not.
Ok, no spoilers. But how in the fuck is this Pam’s neighbor?

The first clue gives two pieces of info:
That means:
Tap for spoiler
The second innocent is NOT Pam’s neighbour
Maybe I’m just going senile. But that really doesn’t make any sense. Stella is not Pam’s neighbor. How do you make that Olympic level leap of deduction?
Specifically, how is Stella Pam’s neighbor?
Stella isn’t Pam’s neighbour, maybe it would help if you explained why you’re asking this?
The very first clue.
Why do you think it’s saying that Stella is Pam’s neighbour?
I am trying to not be rude
Can you explain it with words?
No one to the right of Ruby is Pam’s neighbor. Am I tripping? Like how is everyone else getting this but me‽
This is a legit question. I feel like I’m experiencing a stroke in slow motion.
The first clue says explicitly that the next person is Pam’s neighbor.
My first screenshot shows that the next person is very much not.
