Hey y’all! I’m pretty new to usenet and kind of overwhlemed with how many trackers are private. I got my eyes on DrunkenSlug and DOGnzb but it seems damn near impossible to get in. I got an NZBGeek subscription but want to diversify.
Any tips? For those who are “in” HOW DID YOU DO IT!! Thank you in advanced :)

Apparently occasionally they do open signups for a time, and you can apply then. Also if someone you know uses it, they can invite you.
I’ve been looking online for “signup trackers” but they all seem out of date. Unfortunately I’m the only nerd in my life :,) thank you tho i’ll be on the lookout
There’s an invite request community on here somewhere too, so it might be worth asking there. You’re on a new account though so you might find that nobody wants to trust you with an invite yet, depending on how the sites treat invited members 🙂
DrunkenSlug had open registration last week. I use nzbgeek and haven’t had any trouble finding stuff. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
It’s not a fun answer, but without an invite your best bet is to keep the site open in a tab and refresh it every day. Or use a change tracker to watch it for you. One day your patience will pay off and they’ll open registrations. Hop on it immediately when they do, sometimes it’ll only be open for a day or less.
Geek is a great place to start though, it’s a solid indexer (trackers are for torrents FYI, usenet has indexers for nzbs). Dog is overrated imo, I wouldn’t worry about getting in there.
Just out of curiousity, are you having trouble getting the content you want from the indexer you already have?
It’s lacking a lot of audiobooks and older TV show, I just want a more diverse pool to choose from
Both are a bit tricky with Usenet. https://abook.link/ covers a good amount of my needs. Anything not found there is usually found at https://forum.mobilism.me/ (DDL) or http://audiobookbay.is/ (torrents).
I’ve had to rely on torrents for older tv shows.
abook link requires an invite however when i try to join the chat it says it is unavailable right now. is there any sites that are easy to get into so i can start building my stats? any help much appreciated in advanced!
Nothing easy. https://www.myanonamouse.net/inviteapp.php is considered the best private torrent tracker for audiobooks. Getting in requires a little patience.
