That adult life (in the US) is miserable.

Everyone has to work jobs they hate or tolerate. Everyone looks forward to the weekends and treats the rest of the week like it’s just time spent waiting to live. Everyone drinks. Everyone smokes (did where/when I grew up). Everyone is stressed. No one has enough money. No one has enough free time. No one has enough friends.

I was eleven or twelve when I realized I did not want any of that. Not that that’s done me a ton of good.

That a woman at work was a bully and TOTAL bitch. Everyone thought she was lovely, I could just fucking tell she was awful. Then after a few months she became awful

I suspected that my lovely brother-in-law was not as much of a saint as he let on. He’s a great guy with a big heart, but he’s also a man susceptible to dick brain.

I’m trying to trust my intuition more in this regard. Sometimes you just get a kinda psychic bad smell or something from people. And I’m starting to notice that it usually ends up being proven right.

The justice system is smoke and mirrors. It’s about ego and power, just like every other institute.

That adults can be idiots as well.

I was in Kindergarten when I overheard two parents talking about how afraid they were of AIDS with all the kids sometimes drinking from the same cups and stuff. Even then I knew that AIDS wasn’t transmitted through spit.

a total btch at college lab during the graduation required bio lab work, god she lashed out at me everytime i did something minor trivial that she dint like. when i was forced to work with her on a final project she started ranting,in a text message how she went to talks, conferences and been a lab for years, and she said she know what shes doing. while not offering suggesting or helping at all on the final research project, as soon as she found out its being graded seperately , she said your on your own =til we had to combine the research /citations into the slide. i noticed she dint lashed out to anyone but me, because i was subtling confronting her about. what made it worst was the TA laughed when i moved her stupid bottle out of the way of the projector she got immediately angry, bitch this isnt as funny as you think it is. for someone reason, overweight fat people, especially on the woman side are often overly angry, like they overcompensate for themselves being fat and projecitng thier personal problems.

i also had a sneaking suspicion she was trying to protect her perceived reputation in research, think people not doing a good job or not helping enough and taking credit makes one look less like researchers. you’re not even a phd student yet, chill bitch, also just because you were in the navy before. i dont think the rest of class knew what she was or they suspected, but were afraid to confront her. the PI/PROFESSOR dint help either because had a very similar attitude in protecting his reputaiton for another reasons.(because he was navajo and automatically hates the USA govt for ruining indians people, which is fair, but to project it to the class isnt.

That insurance was a scam. People were praising how useful it could be in case the thing that it claims to solve would happen. But I kept hearing the insurers would use whatever bullshit excuse in the fine print to not pay out. Years later, Luigi happened.
