Mood when you think you are working a mom and pop shop and they have the employees lives in mind. Then they don’t promote you or giving a raise in 5 years despite the business booming and they are opening more locations, where’s my fucking cut for making you profitable

I run a startup company and I decided my first hires will have profit sharing. If not all hires. However, I don’t plan on ever being very big. It’s a garage door company, I’d like to have 2-3 trucks running around, but I don’t think I need more than that. That feels comfortable. Everyone should be happy, my future employees, my customers, and of course, myself.

They take the risks, they have the idea, they have special skills… them getting a significant cut from your work doesn’t seem that bad

Obviously there are always exceptions, there is always a too much

The risks of getting a small business loan forgiven or being demoted from billionaire to mega millionaire.

Or billionaire to still a billionaire after the bailout as the case may be.
