      I mean, many people primarily scroll by all, and aren’t looking for auto play videos of assholes. I think it’s a fair ask.

        Then block the community. It’s absolutely an unfair ask when the solution is so simple.

          Or block users, or keywords. Did we forget that feeds need to be cultivated? This is like complaining there’s cheese in France…

        That sounds like a “you” problem. If you (using it as oneself) don’t want to be offended by images or videos being displayed or AutoPlayed, then simply disable image preview and AutoPlay. The onus is on you, not OP.

          Yeah I think that’s fair. I’m on very low sleep and I did empathize with the feeling of not wanting to scroll across certain content. However, it is absolutely my fault for choosing to scroll all instead of curating a set of communities, but also scrolling all is kinda the only way to see more regular content and discover new communities.

          I wish we had more tags than just “NSFW” or “NSFL” to tag posts/communities, because figuring out which keywords to filter seems both difficult and potentially easy to block more than I’d want to block.
