Found in the Bavarian alps - Looks like Lion’s Mane to me. - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hericium_erinaceus - Very tasty, sauté it with herbs and butter. - Can be cut into steaks or medallions and makes for a good lobster substitute in dishes. - Cool, thank you ☺️ 
 
- I think it’s Bear’s head, also known as Hericium abietis. - Might also be Hericium alpestre. - I think you’re on to something, this is definitely not H. erinaceus
