This is so devastating and infuriating. I want to do something about it but I don’t know what. I’m not even American so it’s not like I can complain to my local senator.
While i totally wouldnt put it past pet stores to do this i also am extremely dubious of white boy youtubers. A non zero chance this guy planted them there for himself to “find”.
I have a strong feeling that’s what’s going on here. He finds all these in the same dumpster? Then in the comments is like “should I make a part two where I find more??” Like, what do you mean find more? Shouldn’t this video been sent directly to your local authorities to have the place condemned?
Also the way he picks up the box and is like doing an unboxing of that fish at the start was like he knew lol
I told staff at a pet store near my house that there was a fish on the floor, flopping around and gasping for air. She went into the back, came out with a wheeled trash can, and threw the fish into it while I watched like 😱.

Wait until you learn about how many animals get killed in Western animal shelters per year because they make profit from keeping shelter space free for meeting demand quota. Yup most of the pets you give away don’t get adopted, only received a single injection and their bodies straight to the cremation unit. There’s a reason why many homeless people don’t send their pets to animal shelters. US, UK and Canada do this. Come back to me when you organize with enough homeless people and learn from reality, not just through capitalist news. 50% of American and Canadian shelters are kill shelters.
? It’s not a competition. I can be upset that live animals are being thrown away and I already know shelters kill animals.
