Hello,

I wrote a rather lengthy post about the shenenigans regarding for-profit TOR exit node hoster called “Conrad Rockenhaus”.

I posted this text to forum.torproject.org, after going through the new account approval process, my text was pending moderation.

After a few days I came back, the text had disappeared entirely, I searched everywhere, not only there were no reason for rejection or even an acknowledgement that the text was denied, there is no evidence left whatsoever that I posted ANYTHING …

So I wrote a second text complaining of this and demanding answers

and today, the SAME THING happened my post

There is no evidence I even made the post at all.

I have no choice now but to call into question the legitimacy of this forum and the TOR organization as a whole as suspect.

    Thanks, never heard of that guy, in fact, I’ve used TOR once or twice, I always known it’s been there, it’s our collective escape hatch for then the clearnet becomes a prison we can refuge there.

    But now I’m looking into it and I’m very worried of what I’m finding. What if the escape hatch is actually a trap ?

    What I’m scared of the most, is that they’re not even trying to see WHAT we’d be doing on TOR but who is using TOR and where.

    Because sometimes, they just want to know who is capable and dissenting.

    Here in Canada there was a political crisis, and the police has lists of thousands of people, ready to go, people to immediately arrest on the first day that Martial Law was declared…

      I hear ya. I have friends in Canada. Sam’s answer is i2p. It’s not nearly as convenient but supposedly more private and more secure. There are a few live bootable i2p distro like Dimensional Rift and KabaOS. There was a more popular one that had some time on it called Prestium but it vanished. Enjoy your journey.
