Here's how fucking dim the dipshits running my university are.
They know we are organizing for a #union vote by the end of the year!
Last week they gave the president a ONE MILLION DOLLAR RAISE, from $1.8M to $2.8M.
Today they announced raises for us. I (and probably almost everyone) got a 2.2% raise.
FUCKIN CARDS PRACTICALLY SIGN THEMSELVES
Did a class on working with big data sets. The university payroll from the previous year is publicly available, so I did your standard crunching.
Even talking the chairwoman and the assistant position she set up for her husband into account (the two highest individual wages), the biggest wage cost was facilities (physical plant). This is all the non-admin staff that maintain buildings, grounds, and all the amenities that made the campus run as a public facing entity.
