Lot of extraneous waste in this design. I believe the biological components could be modified and trimmed to reduce resource consumption on the hydrocarbon-nutrient processor, bringing better fuel efficiency.
Like question one: why does it still have legs? It doesn’t need those and they require energy to upkeep. Just remove them, in fact, remove the entire lower half and just splice directly to the internal plumbing.
You also already have a direct neural interface with the electronics, which means the internal PCU, you can just pump data directly into the brain, which can include sensors like infra and lidar, instead of wasting tech on the fancy magnification array. Just as well, remove the brachial controls for direct control via the neural interface.
… I might read too much transhumanist sci-fi.
