From what I read they are also doing austerity. The focus on “corrupt elites” is sad cuz it means they have no other policy.. The protests in Bangladesh were also about corruption yet look at what that resulted in, economy only got worse and no social democratic policies were implemented. It was more clear that it was manipulated by Brandon regime especially the second stage of protests.
