Protesters throw incendiary materials at the Israeli embassy in Athens to express their rejection of the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli regime in Gaza.

On Tuesday night, the Greek capital witnessed angry protests and demonstrations denouncing the ongoing crimes of genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people.

Social media activists circulated videos showing a group of protesters throwing explosives at the Israeli embassy in Athens.

Previously, similar protests took place in Bahrain, Jordan, and Morocco, where demonstrators also mobilized against Israeli embassies in response to the violence and genocide perpetrated against the Palestinian people. In this context, the Israeli regime evacuated its diplomatic missions in these three countries.

These regional demonstrations reflect a widespread sense of rejection of the Zionist entity and solidarity with the Palestinian nation, at a time when Israel’s war in Gaza is escalating, with dozens of deaths each day and plans for a total occupation of the enclave.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has imposed a blockade on Gaza and has bombarded it with heavy bombardment. The Israeli-Palestinian entity has reportedly killed at least 62,819 Palestinians—mostly women and children—and injured more than 158,629 others in the coastal enclave.
