Does anyone know enough about computer hardware to recommend a Display Port splitter? Was hoping to go from DP to 2xHDMI or even 2xDVI but not exactly sure which one of the 4,000 different varieties is the one I need.

Only need to sort 1920x1280… Two monitors, one output.

Ermmmm, can’t help much with that one sorry :( , I have seen splitters be fussy with certain monitors and graphics cards for reasons their own, best guess would be see if whatever is in budget has known issues with your hardware, there are also display port hubs if you have not seen them, with bonus, these can run more then 2 monitors iirc.

I think you can use any adaptor/splitter, so long as it says that it supports the output resolution and refresh rate you are targeting. Also I think you need at least DisplayPort 1.4 as a minimum (probably).

Random example after I did a search.
