In case you didn’t know, the RTS game “Stormgate” was recently (silently) full released, without any advertisement. It is F2P (campaign purchaseable for 25$) and aiming to become the Starcraft 2 successor - a lot of the old lead Starcraft 2 and Warcraft 3 developers formed the new studio that develops Stormgate.

The game is available here: https://playstormgate.com/

It’s “we have StarCraft at home”. They did a mediocre copy of all the surface visible features, and that’s about it.

Personally I love it and I find many of the steam reviews abysmal. Trying it out also costs you nothing.

The RTS genre is sorely lacking. Even if they don’t make a successor to the competitive multiplayer success of SC2, I would be happy with a good campaign.

Certainly, I really miss a good rts game. Specially if set in the long future / sci-fi world

Right now there is nothing in the market to alliviate the necessity beyond the immortal age of empires 2
