I have been banned from the lemmy.ca instance for what I suspect is posting this post: https://lemmybefree.net/post/1255852
The reason does not make sense, I never posted this type of content. 2 days prior to the instance-wide ban, I got a post removed from communitypromo in which I talked about a crypto community. I contacted them and they never replied.
I suspect a false ban reason was used to censor me.
Fuck lemmy.ca I guess, another instance to boycott
(the instance-wide bans aren’t federated on lemmy, so they don’t appear in other instances’ modlogs)

UPDATE: I have been unbanned, apparently they banned the wrong user. Still seems fishy considering my post was previously removed as spam. I still haven’t been contacted.

How is it spam exactly? It is a discussion community about a cryptocurrency
Nano is trying to be an everything currency but still has private WHOIS data. Removing any kind of trust you are putting forward.
Who the fuck lets WHOIS data public? You’re nitpicking. Even bitcoin.org has private WHOIS data. Even join-lemmy.org has private WHOIS data… oooh, scaryyyy
Ohh, touched a nerve there.
You just proved you just hate crypto and call it a scam for no reason, like seriously, that must be the most stupid reason
