I use ProtonMail, and I was thinking, “Damn, it’s spectacular not being tracked… but hold on a minute. Perhaps less than gmail, but still at all. And what about browser fingerprinting, and cookies, and even fonts!” I ended up in that feedback loop we all end up in. Perhaps ignorance is bliss? What is something you (might) wish you were ignorant of?

    They’re evil, but not so sure giving some to meta to Amazon or similar would be better…

      It absolutely is. Even if it’s going from one super villain to another, even if that’s still not a great outcome, it’s better than letting ONE corporation have all the power.

      Your data is valuable. Let them fight over it.

        I believe Meta is worse than google with private data

        At least Google makes something good out of it, sometimes, maybe

        Meta and amazon don’t really bring us anything good
