Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Damaging the health and safety of the people around you to stroke your own ego is pretty much always a dick move.

As far as I know, nobody has been denied warranty coverage for installing a custom ROM.
Other commenters have suggested a cheaper used model. This isn’t a bad idea, but make sure to balance the money you save against future update lifespan. Paying half as much for a phone with a quarter of the service life would not be a smart move.
I’ve had an original g502 since they first came out. Mine was a return that had been damaged, and other than some cosmetic damage (corrosion on the scroll wheel, rubber texturing worn flat, gamergrease stuck in the cracks), it has held up remarkably well for the past 10+ years.
I’d encourage you to get a budget model from a gaming manufacturer just so you can avoid getting a mouse with integrated acceleration or something stupid like that.
There are inflatable car covers that can work, but ice never seen one in use. Everyone here accepts that you either leave the car in covered parking or you file an insurance claim when it gets too bad.
Fairphone doesn’t have the right hardware support. There’s a good comparison chart here if you aren’t in the market for a new device right now:
I hate that term. Eichmann very notably revelled in his role and tried to play up how many people they killed.
Archinstall if you’re brave, endeavor if you aren’t.
Although if you don’t want to rawdog it, I’d recommend fedora or tumbleweed instead. The whole point of arch is that it’s simple to keep everything on your head.
I just did a quick google and couldn’t find a second source from a known organization.
Not saying it didn’t happen, just saying some of all of this may be misleading or might be inaccurate.
If you were a straight, white man it was a good time to exist economically with a high degree of social cohesion. Oppression was worse, but it probably was much less visible to your dad’s sort of person.
And the economy was booming. My own dad went to college full time and worked 20 hours a week loading trucks in his 20s. On this salary, he was able to buy a starter house, marry his first wife, have 2 kids, and complete his degree.
It fucking sucked if you were literally anyone else though. Married women were barely better than property, and they frequently killed themselves to escape their husbands. Spousal abuse was common and not really looked down on in many communities unless you took things “too far” and sent them to the hospital. Being queer was just straight up illegal, and you’d be imprisoned and ostracized if you were caught. Racism was…worse to say the least.
While things might have been better in the past for a specific population or from a specific point of view, always remember that we have made substantial progress even in the past decade or two. Living in the past is a fool’s paradise.
If you’re comfortable administering your own system, try Arch.
If you’re not comfortable administering your own system but you want a rolling release, try tumbleweed.
If you don’t want a rolling release, try Fedora.
I’d advise against Ubuntu, Debian, mint, and their derivatives. The only one I know of that doesn’t ship out of date packages is Debian unstable.
If you hate yourself, try Gentoo lol
I respectfully disagree, Jesus doesn’t even mention homosexuality.
Paul mentions homosexuality, but Paul is very notably not Jesus, he’s basically just a guy who rolls up after Jesus is dead and says he’s an apostle now. There’s also significant cultural context there, and his objection to sex applied to all recreational sex regardless of orientation.
The Old Testament also mentions homosexuality. I am not sufficiently educated on Hebrew culture to comment on those passages, but I do know that Christians are very explicitly not bound by Old Testament law.
American rail doesn’t exist outside of like two cities. To take public transit to work, I’d have to walk about 12km to the train station. From there, I could catch a train that runs every hour to downtown. I think that train takes about 45m, but I have no idea how often it runs. From downtown, I could transfer to light rail for 20m, transfer again to a bus for 15m, and then I could walk the last 6 blocks or so. Not counting the 12km walk, it would take at least 1:20 plus time spent waiting on transfers.
Or I could drive there in 45m of horrible traffic.
My brother in Christ, you do not realize how down bad the 20-something girls with daddy issues are.
My best friend hooked an old guy without custody of his kids. They’re moving in together next week.
Edit: My point is that people like her exist and have their own preferences. Unfortunately the vast majority of men she goes out with are creeps. I’m going to support my friend, but I’m also doing a very in depth background check as soon as I learn his last name. The overwhelming majority of men interested in much younger women are creeps.
