I think you dropped this:
Democrats & Republicans
- Bombed kids
- Tortured innocent people
- Increased the surveillance state
- Took money from the poor and working class, and gave it to their rich friends
- Spent billions on wars, while claiming that they couldn’t afford to fix our healthcare or housing problems
- Boasted about deporting more people than Republicans
- Backed a Genocide
Different and worse. How do designers keep seeing other checkout system and think: “You know, I think I see a way that we could make this process slower and more complicated…”
I’m all for people being able to bone other consenting adults, married or not, but these two clearly think that cheating is bad. If they had open relationships, then why would they care if they were seen together?
Also, teens get ahold of their parent’s credit card, and “totally swear” that they never purchased anything with it.
Yes. Porn has a lot of chargebacks. It is a “business of regretful purchases”, lol.
People think that purchases won’t show up on their bill, but when it does, they lie about it, and try to get it reversed.
piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Obama’s blunt message for Democrats: ‘Toughen up’English1·3 days agoI never said he could just immediately stop the wars. And Trump and Bush being warmongers does not mean that Obama wasn’t a warmonger. All three of them were warmongers.
If you can’t defend your position, thats fine, but stop making up stuff that I never said.
He could have done a lot, but chose to make jokes about the people he killed. That doesn’t sound like he tried very hard, especially when he continued torturing innocent people, and continued bombing kids.

piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Obama’s blunt message for Democrats: ‘Toughen up’English1·3 days agoSays the person who thinks that bombing kids is actually not a big deal, as long as the right guy is doing it.
piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Obama’s blunt message for Democrats: ‘Toughen up’English1·3 days agolol, you are. You are literally saying he’s not such a bad guy, because he killed less people.
I don’t disagree that wars are sometimes a necessary evil, but that wasn’t the case under Obama. He got into power, and continued on with Bush’s policy of unnecessary war. He could have stopped, but he chose to continue.
You can keep saying that he had no power all you want, but he did, and you saying “nu-uh” doesn’t change that fact.
piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Obama’s blunt message for Democrats: ‘Toughen up’English1·3 days agoThen Obama should have come out and said “Hey these guys are making us continue fighting in wars that I don’t want us to be in”. Instead he joked about killing people.
piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Obama’s blunt message for Democrats: ‘Toughen up’English1·3 days agoIt literally was explicitly his choice. He is literally the Commander-in-chief. He had every opportunity to pull out, but chose to brag about killing people instead.
If he had told everyone that we were ending our wars, and they didn’t follow through properly, that’d be on them, not him. Instead he continued on, killing innocent people and joked about it.
piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Zohran Mamdani's momentum shows no sign of slowing downEnglish3·3 days agoIs he posting as much stuff? I’m not saying you are wrong, but I wonder if he’s put out less stuff if he’s trying to recalibrate his campaign for the general election.
piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Obama’s blunt message for Democrats: ‘Toughen up’English1·3 days agoWell, I’m sure the dead kids that he bombed will be happy to hear that he killed less of them than the previous administration. What a relief!
piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Obama’s blunt message for Democrats: ‘Toughen up’English1·3 days agoOh, so Obama wasn’t the commander-in-chief? He bears no responsiblity for blowing up people that he admitted he directly told his staff to do?
It literally was his war. He literally had every opportunity to pull out, but chose to expand the war instead.
The economy was genuinely not better. Housing, healthcare, education, the gap between the rich and the poor increased under him, while he gave handouts to his rich friends. I can’t say the economy operated better, because I care about more things than the GDP or Stock-Market. I care about how the entire economy works, not just rich-people’s economy.
piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Obama’s blunt message for Democrats: ‘Toughen up’English1·3 days agoExcept you literally were. And yes, people here are genuinely incorrect about how he handled the military. They keep saying that he had no choice, and it was out of his hands, and it wasn’t his fault, when it was a choice that he clearly made and then bragged about.
piefood@feddit.onlineto Progressive Politics@lemmy.world•Mamdani appoints top DNC and Obama adviser in bid to secure Democratic Party establishment supportEnglish1·3 days agoThe explanation is that Biden was a terrible president, who fucked over the people that voted for him. The Democrats dissolusioned voters by telling them to ignore their eyes, and continue supporting someone who was clearly in severe cognitive decline. Harris was an uncharasmatic shell of a human, who said that she was going to continue highly unpopular polices, and gave no criticism of a highly unpopular president.
Maybe the “…negative attitude towards Democrats in general”, is justified. It’s always amazing to me that Democrats think they have a Perception Problem, when they actually have a Reality Problem.

piefood@feddit.onlineto politics @lemmy.world•Obama’s blunt message for Democrats: ‘Toughen up’English1·4 days agofor no reason? LOL Maybe the reason people call him a warmonger is that he continuously pushed for more war, expanded the military, and killed innocent people.
That’s fair. I updated it to say both. I phrased it that way in response to ChonkyOwlBear’s implication that the Democrats were the good guys
