That hasn’t been my experience. My experience is that my first impressions are woefully incomplete, but rarely wrong.
You aren’t reading the wrong book, you’re just only getting the prelude chapter.

I mean it tells me that you’re somebody who weighs levity over seriousness. Even if it doesn’t specifically tell me who you are, to imply that any choice is devoid of meaning is equally unrealistic.
If you are so pedantic so as to not consider the support for the banister as part of the banister, then frankly I have no interest in the necessary effort required to discuss this or any matter further with you.
If our view was from the top looking down at the bottom then the banister would be rotated 90 degrees towards us.
I guess I should address the “wear” on the carpet as well: it doesn’t look worn to me, it looks disturbed. Like before this person tried shoving their mattress up the stairs and got it stuck, they carried a heavy dresser or or something up the stairs and dragged it up each stair, sliding it along the carpet. I suspect this is a person moving into a cheap efficiency apartment, since the one my father moved into last when he was still alive looked extremely similar.
My stairs don’t have a visible ledge. I don’t know why people are acting like that’s standard. I think only one of the homes I’ve lived in has had a stairwell with ledges.
Carpet is softer and more enjoyable to walk on than hard floors. I will never understand this weird anti-carpet trend we’ve gotten into in the past decade, except that it’s the same thing as grass lawn emulating the wide expanse of the wealthy.
How are y’all arguing this? The banister makes it unquestionably obvious that it’s at the top. There’s no debate to be had here unless the banister was intentionally installed wrong just for the purpose of this meme, which would be crazy.
The mattress is at the top, y’all.
I think we’re gonna have to call this one a skill issue actually, as I don’t think I can discretely put a canoe into my pocket so I’m not sure how you expect me to actually get from canoe acquisition to open seas without arrest.
In general I feel like I’m more likely to want to revisit and spend more time in the world of a good book than the world of most films, even films I enjoy, so it makes sense to me that there’s enough to easily fill two books worth.
I saw the first Jurassic Park. I enjoyed it. But I feel sated with that single entry. If you love these movies, more power to you, but I don’t really understand it myself.
I don’t even call it piracy, because piracy has a definition that this doesn’t meet. I call it what it is: unauthorized reproduction. That’s it. That’s all “piracy” is, it’s literally just unauthorized reproduction. Doesn’t sound nearly as scary and dramatic when you call it what it actual is, does it?
This is why the rich are trying to cull the poor. I’m not joking. What you see happening is very much by design, and the wealthy think it’s necessary. They believe the most effective way to fight climate change is to get rid of all the poors and undesirables
…Does Bill Nye need more qualifications to be an effective science educator?
A cursory glance implies a decent canoe starts at $2000, so my bank account is stopping me, at bare minimum
That’s only the half of it. Look at the rest of the policies, look how they want to cut Medicare and food stamps and other safety net programs.
Make no mistake, this administration wants to see people die.
This is the end game the technocrats have been working towards, this is how they’re enacting their eugenics. They want poor people, disabled people, disadvantaged people, to die. They believe they are culling the weak members of the herd for the sake of the betterment of “their” kind (rich, white, “healthy”, etc).
These policies aren’t stupid or ineffective, they are cruel and insidious by design
Bro do you think I typed this through clenched teeth or something? My comment was in exactly the same light tone as yours.
