To see all Oaken Tower players have their computer mice overheat when playing that game. To the point where an hour of playing it would make their mice unusable.

Totally genie like behavior. I love it.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Games@lemmy.world•Itch.io is delisting NSFW games due to pressure from payment processorsEnglish12·2 days agoI know this is more of a serious thing, but I was thinking that I kinda hope these payment processors try to ban some big European company over some puritanical bullshit and then Europe responds with threatening a complete ban on them to put them in line. Ain’t no way any payment processor would ever risk being banned in one of the largest markets in the world.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Games@lemmy.world•Itch.io is delisting NSFW games due to pressure from payment processorsEnglish6·2 days agoAssuming we’re being facetious here, 100% agree.
Hell, if extwitter gets banned, it’d be hilarious because then there would probably be laws changed to ensure only the government can select what gets banned. Though, not so hilarious in the current state of the world.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto People Twitter@sh.itjust.works•How can one man be such a fucking loser3·2 days agoNot gonna lie, the way €lon is looking above the holo-menu thing, to me, really makes the image soulless. Hell, you could replace him with anyone and I’d say it looks just as soulless if they ain’t looking at that menu thing.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Work Reform@lemmy.world•Silicon Valley AI Startups Are Embracing China’s Controversial ‘996’ Work Schedule43·2 days agoI’d say that’s more than controversial. It’s inhumane and should be outlawed worldwide. That’s more closer to Japanese “work yourself to death” kinda work culture than anything else. There’s a reason, from what I understand, that basically nobody, besides the bosses implementing this kinda policy, likes it.

Anytime I see a conservative group like them, regardless of country of origin, try to take the moral high ground on anything sexual related, I immediately assume there’s a 500% chance they’re trying to get the exact same thing they do in private banned for everyone else.

Not hard for me to, if the reporting is correct. Who wouldn’t support big tech having to pay tax on the ability to collect your data besides the braindead?
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.ziptoUnited States | News & Politics@midwest.social•According to the Cato/YouGov survey, 62 percent of Americans aged 18–29 say they hold a “favorable view” of socialism, while 34 percent say the same of communism.21·3 days agoYikes on the communism part, but great that the number of people favoring socialism is rising.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Games@lemmy.world•What's a video game that can run on any sort of device?(besides doom and pong)English2·3 days agoDefinitely heard of it. Had no idea what it was for. Good to know, I guess.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Games@lemmy.world•What's a video game that can run on any sort of device?(besides doom and pong)English2·4 days agoI vote we try it with a bunch of old point and click adventure games like Monkey Island or any other that have simplistic enough graphics and gameplay. Couldn’t tell you how to do it because I don’t know what code they run and how inefficient it could be by the standards at the time, but I feel like a lot of old point and click games could probably run just fine on a lot of modern devices that aren’t computers, if given a Doom level community support.

Not as convenient as just using something like DOSBox, but definitely rewarding in my opinion.
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto A Boring Dystopia@lemmy.world•Hotels have developed a new revenue stream: "algorithmic" smoke detectors1·5 days agoSo, are there any sort of devices you can buy to check for these type of things or are they mostly just hollywood TV/movie and detective game mumbo jumbo type things?
AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Have you noticed more "content creators" using ai as a source3·5 days agoMaybe not on the main channels I tend to watch on yt, but there’s one who I have pretty much completely stopped watching ( GrayStillPlays ) because I just wasn’t as interested anymore. I come back one day recently to check out a Universe Sandbox video he just posted that day and the second he started asking I think it was chatgpt something about a little laser pointer, IIRC, I immediately noped out of the video.
I ain’t supporting him if he’s just gonna use an “AI” LLM to get the info he wants. I could at least, before LLMs became the big bubble they are, look past him just casually asking g••gle using the shitty voice assistant thing because it’s whatever, but can’t for “AI” LLMs.

Regardless of what country does it, I will absolutely call every country that replaces all humans with robo workers for mundane jobs like that dystopian.
Definitely a mix of both, as a non-ADHD afflicted autistic person. Nothing worse than being out, walking my brother’s dogs, and suddenly an oncoming memory I wanna forget flies at me, making me wanna rip my hair out.
Clearly it sounds like they jumped ship the moment they could.
